Of course, there were parishioners and friends from Our Lady of Sorrows in Houston who came to see Fr. Len Collins.
In Austin, the rededication of St. Mary's Cathedral was celebrated. Holy Cross had been there for over one hundred years. The restoration of the church was to make it look as much as possible what it had been like when it was first built. Of course, there was also the opportunity to do some technological innovations, such as an excellent sound system. The Mass was well attended by the priests in the area including Holy Cross priests.
