May and June are First Communion, First Confession, Confirmation and Graduation times!!!
At San Juan Diego, 54 children made their First Holy Communion.

San Juan Diego Church did a neighborhood walk on a warm--hot, really--Sunday evening. It was quite interesting to meet the people in their homes. Two things that came up were the concern for safety and the education of the children. The concern for safety came up because people feel that when they call the sheriff's office, they get a very slow response or no response at all. The parents also noted that many children do not go to school, but no one comes to check on them or see why they are not coming to school.
Bishop Gregory Aymond came to Dolores Parish to do the confirmations for Dolores and San Juan Diego, the mission church of Dolores at Stoney Point.

At Dolores Parish, we always end the C.C.D. program with the May Crowning of Mary.
