On Monday night June 6, Holy Cross in Mexico celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart at the Professed House. This was the first time in many years for this celebration. Usually it comes too late in June for a big celebration. The men are usually out of school or on retreat in Texas.

The celebration began with a 7:30 PM Mass with Fathers Len Collins, Pete Logsdon, Dan Panchot and Marin Hernandez concelebrating. Len presided from behind the altar in his wheel chair. Alfredo led the music while the women candidates read. The two Moreau candidates also participated in the Mass.

After Mass there was a typical CSC Mexican Fiesta with all the fixings, Mexican food and music. Sisters Mica, Juanita and Patricia really enjoyed themselves and everyone enjoyed Juanita's Walking Tacos. Only two were missing: Naomi, who was working and Margarito who was at the Major Seminary participating in a cultural week. In all there were 4 priests, 3 sisters, 4 professed, 3 men candidates, 2 women candidates and one possible candidate. A really good time was had by all.
