While at Notre Dame, John Korcsmar went to Holy Cross House. He saw a number of people we all know. Fr. Richard Teall was up and about for lunch. He tends not to linger at the table after eating. Fr. Pat Foley was looking very well and energetic. Fr. Jack Birkmeyer was on his way out to lunch at Don Pablo's; the men have at least one outing every month. Fr. Ted Hesburgh was there for lunch; he now resides at Holy Cross House and continues to work in his office at the library. Fr. Gene Burke had his usual smile as he was rolling along in a wheelchair. Fr. Paul Rankin was asleep; he had suffered a minor stroke in the morning, but seems to be doing well. Paul will be doing some therapy to maximize the use of his limbs. Fr Joe Lehane was there; he now resides at Holy Cross House. Fr. Lehane had been in Bangladesh. Another Bangladesh missionary there was Fr. Bob Stegmeyer.
