Some people think religious life is all dreary sacrifice. Yes, there is indeed sacrifice. And there are times when things may get dreary, but there are also other qualities.

| At times we might feel overwhelmed, as Sr. Joan Mader does at this moment. | But then there are other times when there is a sense of accomplishment with even more to be achieved. | |

| At other times there is sheer determination, as Sr. Michelle Toepp has here. | And too, there is joy, as when one has does well. |
Of course religious life is not just about these things. There are other moments too:
