The Province gathered in Houston at Holy Name Retreat Center. Fr. Hugh Cleary, the superior general, was with us. We were later joined also by Fr. David Tyson, the Indiana Provincial.
The main topic of discussion was what to do about the future of the province. Given our financial situation, the number of religious who are working full-time, serious thought and discussion are given to closing the Southern Province and becoming part of the Indiana Province.
