| Every year just before Christmas, the Guadalupanas take Father John and the Sisters out to dinner. After dinner, the Guadalupanas have their Christmas party. Again this year, they all went to Joy East for a Chinese buffet. |

| Mrs. Torres, the Guadalupana president, seems very pensive. Mrs. Frances Reyes seems to be enjoying herself. Sr. Olivia and Sr. Margarita are focused on their dinners. | Father Ed found a good spot at the end of the table. |
Sister Lili Martínez went home to Monterrey for a few days at Christmas time. She got to spend time with her family, the Sisters there, and the rest of the Holy Cross and La Luz community. While she was there, she played la Loteria de Santa Cruz, which is a game but also helps people learn more about Holy Cross. A good time was had by all!!
