Birthdays come and go faster than one would like. Father John Korcsmar celebrated his 59th birthday. The Holy Cross Sisters on East Side Drive prepared a meal for him. Sr. Judy Murphy made chicken paprikash and dumplings. Even though there are many stories of how this recipe went wrong for so many in John's family, Sr. Judy got it just right the first time with both the chicken paprikash and the dumplings. Sr. Ann Monica made homemade spring rolls and peanut sauce. Sr. Lili made the ice cream cake and the salad. A good time was had by all!!!
