It certainly was an interesting trip. The temperature was 122°. It did cool off at 11:00 p.m. as John went back to the airport to leave--it got down to 95°.
It also rained, with lightning and thunder, as John was going to the airport. Bruce said that in his 7 years in Coachella, he has never seen lightning.
