Tuesday morning, John awoke to one of the joys of the South Bend winter: a whole bunch of snow. Approximately 5 or 6 inches had fallen through the night. Everything was covered with a very thick blanket of snow. Walking over from Fatima Retreat House to Fr. Steve Gibson's studio was an adventure. Pulling the computer bag on wheels was difficult because it acted like a snowplow, gathering all the snow in front of it as it moved. While he was walking, John was picked up by the Notre Dame Police. Fortunately, it was not for any given crime. However, the police officer knew Father Steve Gibson. They found Steve outside the studio, shoveling snow. The police officer said that it was the most work he has seen Steve ever do. |
