Father John Korcsmar, Sister Olivia Jasso, and Sister Rose Moreno drove from Austin to San Luis Potosi, S.L.P. 

The first night they were there they had supper with Maria Victoria Escalante, Olivia Ramos, and Martha Rivera.  A good time was had by all!

 

On the next day they visited La Casa de la Caridad Cristiana, which is a place that welcomes, feeds, houses, and provides pastoral care and direction to migrants.  They met with Magda Derbez, the director of the house.  They had the grand tour of the places.  While they were there, a young lady came to cut hair.  Sr. Rose kept pushing Fr. John to get in line, but he resisted; he needs to keep all the hair he can.

Later the same day they drove to Zacatecas, Zacatecas to meet with the people who work at the Centro de los Derechos del Migrante, Inc.  They teach workers their rights in the U.S. and in Mexico.  They also work on legal cases where workers have been exploited, injured, or unpaid for their work.

What are these guys waiting for???	A haircut!!
