TexLaMex, August 2007, Page 2

Things have really been slow--not that any one is complaining!!!  John has a had a lot of time to work on a couple of DVD's.  They are fun to do, hopefully are instructional, but they take a lot of time....I mean a lot of time!

We did have a meeting of the religious working at the parish.  You know things are slow when news like this makes TexLaMex!

You can see that Sr. Carlota keeps Notre Dame close to her heart. Sr. Olivia and Sr. Rose pay close attention to what Sr. Carlota is saying.

Pastors just can't lay down the law like we used to!

Sister Pauline Aguirre, FHM has come from Mallorca, Spain to visit the Franciscan Sisters at Dolores.  She used to live and work here as well.  In fact, Dolores has been a place that has given two superiors general to the Franciscans (Sr. Frances was the other), two delegadas for the sisters, and one provincial.

But I think Sister Pauline seems happy with what she sees:

Sister Pauline brought John a coffee cup from Assisi.  She said that when she saw it, she knew it was just for him!!
