In Austin, the Holy Cross religious and communities celebrated the Feast of Blessed Basil Moreau in a variety of ways:
At Dolores Parish, Fr. John Korcsmar preached on Fr. Basil Moreau at all the Masses. He had a picture of Fr. Moreau in the sanctuary. It will be placed in the church permanently.
The Brothers had a Mass and social at Bro. Vincent Pieaux Residence which was well attended.
At St. Ignatius Martyr Parish there was a Mass and reception on Sunday afternoon.
