Sr. Carlota flew from Portland, OR to
Atlanta, GA so that she could be in a meeting of the Intercongregational Justice
and Peace Office at St. Mary's in South Bend, IN.
Brother Thomas and Father John drove down to the border to turn in the car
papers on the red van. It only takes a few minutes to turn in the papers
and the sticker. So they took a few more minutes and drove over to El
Rincon del Viejo, a restaurant whose speciality is cabrito. A
good time was had by all except the cabritos.

May is time for First Confessions and First Communions.
At Dolores there were two groups for confession. The first group was on a
Thursday evening and filled the church with almost all Spanish speaking.
The second and smaller group was on a Saturday morning; there were still only a
few English-speaking children.
