Interfaith, the Justice for Immigrants Campaign, and the Diocesan Office of
Hispanic Ministry had a workshop on Saturday, September 27th.
Fr. John Korcsmar did a presentation on
immigrant rights and how to prepare for legalization.
Mr. Gil Leija did a presentation on
leadership. Lilia Martinez did a
presentation on individual meetings.
The group decided on being a core team and working on sharing information with immigrants.
John Korcsmar offered to show the video on immigrant rights after Mass at San Juan Diego in Stony Point. Everyone except the kids and teachers who had class in the other building all stayed. There must be interest!
On Monday, John flew up to South Bend to visit Steve Gibson and learn more about making videos. There is so much to learn!! By the way, John is NOT staying for the Stanford game at Notre Dame.
